Good quality made components. To be clear with everyone, this is NOT a motorized rail. It does allow you straight quality cuts if you pay attention but it is operator driven. Battery powered motor option would be my only true design change on top of this.

This thing has stepped up my game seriously since I first started using it a little over a year ago. Straight, precision cuts have never been easier. Simply place the magnetized rail on the metal and push or pull in a smooth constant speed due to the geared head. Super smooth cuts everytime. My favorite aspect is the bevel adjustment. I use it for beveling big plate regularly, and it is super accurate. I have even made a adapter for my plasma gun and opened up a whole new world of precision cutting. I recently added a longer 4’ rail that makes processing full 4’x8’ sheet and plate a snap. Great product from the Scorpion, and it is simply a important part of my arsenal now.
