ER308L AWS A5.9 CLASS ER 308L
ER308L is similar to 308 but contains an average .02% carbon producing a weld deposit with good resistance against inter-granular corrosion caused by carbide precipitation.
308L is commonly used for welding AISI types 304L, 308L, 321 and 347.

I bought 10lbs of this rod a few months back and…
I bought 10lbs of this rod a few months back and I didn’t want to give my feedback on it until I ran it for awhile... I’ve always have used crown filler for stainless rod and have never really found any other rod that will run as smooth and consistent as crown... so I was happy that after running about 5lbs of this rod that it has proven itself consistent and well made. I always look for for a stainless rod that will give me a glossy(shiny) finish and not dull. Reason for that is most of the time the welds I do get either electropolished or passivated and once they have had that done the welds look Crome! This Washington Alloy rod gets 5 stars from me!
