Totally an unnecessary tool "kinda" but just the fact that you can set the stick out distance and then you know from there on out the stick out will be the same EVERY time. When learning im trying to eliminate all the variables possible so that i will have the best chance at success possible. Thats the main reason i purchased this! As always, shipping is extremely fast.
