Modern replacement lead sets use advanced hose materials, improved insulation systems, and upgraded power connectors that deliver better durability, improved electrical performance, and longer service life — but they also increase the overall cable bundle diameter.

That creates a problem.

Anyone who has serviced a 2A PAW torch knows the original handle design was already an extremely tight fit. Reinstalling the handle over the cable and hose assembly often damages the insulating heat shrink tubing around the power leads and hose connections during assembly.
