Rollout Plates for Pipe Welding – 1" to 8" Pipe (Select Roller Configuration Above)
Adjustable pipe rollout plates for rotating, positioning, and supporting pipe during welding and fabrication.
Rollout Plates provide a practical way to support and rotate pipe directly on a welding or fabrication table. Designed for pipe sizes from 1" to 8", these compact roller fixtures help welders reposition round workpieces without repeatedly lifting or manually handling the pipe.
Each rollout plate uses 2" (50mm) diameter rollers mounted on individually adjustable arms. Two roller positions allow the setup to accommodate different pipe diameters while maintaining support during rotation.
Choose from two configurations: the compact RLP050 with two rollers, or the larger RLP110 with four rollers and an integrated 300-amp grounding connection.
Both models can be secured to a compatible perforated welding table or clamped to a suitable work surface.
Select your preferred roller configuration from the options above.

Available Rollout Plate Configurations
Strong Hand Tools offers two rollout plate configurations designed for different pipe support requirements.
SHT-RLP050 – Two-Roller Rollout Plate
The RLP050 features one pair of adjustable rollers on a compact mounting base. Its smaller footprint makes it useful for supporting and rotating pipe where table space is limited.
The base includes slotted mounting feet and a mounting tab, allowing the plate to be secured to a compatible welding table.
Important: The RLP050 does not include a conductive grounding tab.
SHT-RLP110 – Four-Roller Rollout Plate with Grounding Tab
The RLP110 features two pairs of adjustable rollers, one at each end of a longer mounting plate. This configuration supports the pipe at two locations along the plate.
The RLP110 also includes a conductive grounding tab rated for up to 300 amps, allowing the welding work return connection to be made through the designated grounding point.
Important: The 300-amp grounding tab is included only with the RLP110 model.
Rotate Pipe Without Repeated Lifting
Rotating pipe by hand can interrupt the welding process, especially when the workpiece needs to be repositioned several times around its circumference.
Strong Hand Tools Rollout Plates support pipe on rotating rollers, allowing the workpiece to turn while resting on the fixture.
This arrangement can simplify pipe positioning during weld preparation, tack welding, fit-up, and fabrication.
For longer workpieces, multiple rollout plates can be positioned in line to provide additional support as needed.
Adjustable Roller Positions
Each rollout plate features roller arms that can be set in two positions: narrow or wide.
The narrow position accommodates smaller pipe diameters, while the wider position provides an alternative support arrangement for larger pipe.
Each roller is mounted on its own arm, allowing the roller configuration to be adjusted according to the workpiece.
Before welding, confirm that the pipe is properly seated on the rollers and that the rollout plate is securely mounted to the work surface.
RLP050 – Compact Two-Roller Design
The SHT-RLP050 uses a single pair of 2" rollers mounted on a compact base.
The smaller design makes it a practical option for shorter workpieces, supplementary pipe support, and applications where table space is limited.
Its mounting arrangement includes two slotted feet and a center mounting tab.
The RLP050 may also be positioned in line with another compatible rollout plate when additional workpiece support is required.
RLP110 – Four Rollers with 300-Amp Grounding Tab
The SHT-RLP110 features four rollers arranged in two pairs on a longer mounting plate.
This configuration provides two support locations along the workpiece while maintaining the ability to rotate the pipe.
The RLP110 includes a conductive grounding tab rated for up to 300 amps. The tab attaches to the side of the plate near one of the roller pairs using the supplied mounting screws.
The designated grounding tab allows the welding work return clamp to be connected directly to the fixture.
Grounding Note: The RLP110 is the only model in this listing that includes the conductive grounding tab. Always follow the welding equipment manufacturer's work return connection instructions and do not exceed the tab's 300-amp rating.
Mounting to Your Welding Table
Both rollout plate models can be mounted to a compatible perforated welding table or secured using suitable clamps.
RLP050 Mounting:
The compact base features two slotted mounting feet and a center mounting tab for securing the plate.
RLP110 Mounting:
The longer mounting plate features seven mounting holes for positioning and securing the fixture to a compatible work surface.
When using a welding table without mounting holes, either rollout plate can be secured with appropriate clamps.
Please Note: Bolts and clamps used to secure the rollout plates to the welding table are not included.
Using Multiple Rollout Plates
For pipe or tubing that requires additional support, two or more rollout plates can be positioned along the workpiece.
For example, the compact RLP050 can be placed in line with an RLP110 to create a multi-point pipe support arrangement.
The distance between fixtures can be adjusted to suit the workpiece length and the support requirements of the job.
Make sure all supports are properly aligned and secured before rotating or welding the pipe.
