Titanium Gas Shower Diffuser - for TIG Aesthetics Purge Plugs

The TIG Aesthetics Shower Head Diffuser is a precision-engineered argon purge fitting designed to improve purge efficiency, eliminate turbulence, and enhance reliability during TIG welding. By adding an additional layer of controlled diffusion inside the purge plug, the Shower Head Diffuser helps create smooth, laminar argon flow within the weldment.

Each diffuser features six horizontally opposed, precision CNC-machined outlet ports. This configuration evenly distributes argon in a non-disruptive pattern, preventing high-velocity gas eddys that cause turbulence, oxygen mixing, and inconsistent internal weld quality. The result is more stable purge coverage, cleaner weld roots, and improved argon efficiency.

Beyond gas control, the Shower Head Diffuser is designed to attach positively and securely VIA a barbed design to our 6mm or .25" silicone purge hose - Preventing accidental hose disconnection during welding and part repositioning. The diffuser acts as a secure internal retention point, reducing the risk of purge interruption mid-weld. A common cause of oxidation and rework.

Machined from CP2 titanium, the diffuser upgrade offers an ideal balance of strength, heat resistance, and ultra-lightweight construction. Titanium was selected specifically to prevent oxidation and contamination inside the weldment while maintaining long-term durability. Built with ruggedness in mind, these diffusers are designed to last and can be transferred into new TIG Aesthetics silicone purge plugs as older plugs wear, eliminating the need to replace fittings.

The Shower Head Diffuser is engineered to work seamlessly with all TIG Aesthetics Silicone Purge Plugs, excluding the 1" tube plug, making it a versatile upgrade for a wide range of tube and pipe welding applications.

Installation:

• Remove the mesh diffuser from the silicone purge plug
• Insert the Shower Head Diffuser through the gas inlet hole from the inside of the plug
• Reinstall the mesh diffuser over the top, capturing the fitting securely inside the plug
