Weight Capacity
Q: What are the weight ratings?
- 100A Series: 200 lb capacity
- 200A Series: 440 lb capacity
Q: Why is vertical capacity lower?
A: Vertical capacity is reduced because the load places direct downward force on the bearings. These machines are primarily designed for horizontal use.

Q: Are replacement parts readily available?
A: Yes. These machines use standard industrial components, and replacement parts are widely available.
Grounding the Positioner
Q: How do you properly ground the positioner?
A: A spring-loaded brass pin or block contacts the backside of the turntable.
Dirty or contaminated surfaces will prevent proper grounding and may cause machine failure.
Arc-Zone recommends using emery cloth to clean or rough the surface for solid electrical contact.
Foot Control
Q: Does the machine include a foot control?
A: Yes. The standard setup includes an on/off foot control.
Variable speed foot control is available as an upgrade:

Chuck Size
Q: What size chuck is included?
