Choose from traditional Lenco® Spring / Tong style stick electrode holders, or Premium Bernard® ShortStub™ & Profax® Twister™ style heavy-duty models that mechanically hold the stick electrode tight for easy bending & better arc control.

The Bernard® ShortStub™ & Profax® Twister™ style holders use a fully insulated head, and are designed to eliminate arc out problems associated with the "open" Spring / Tong style stick holders with exposed electrode gripping pads.

Stick Welding (SMAW or Shielded Metal Arc) is a process which melts & joins metal by heating them with an arc between a covered electrode & the workpiece. Shielding gas comes from the electrode's outer coating, also known as flux.
