Rod Guard® canisters provide great storage and inventory control for your filler metals. Rod Guard® canisters are Made in America and built to last. Specifically designed for 36" (0.9m) TIG filler-metals, flux-coated bronze or brazing rod, these rugged containers are the perfect storage solution. Rod Guard® containers have a 0.100" (2.54mm) nominal wall thickness for strength and durability, they can hold up to 10 lbs (4.5kg) of cut-length welding wire. When the thread-on cap is removed, rod tips are exposed - allowing easy access to the canister's contents.
Each Rod Guard® canister is certified chloride-free and features a threaded cap with long-lasting neoprene seal to keep electrodes airtight - preventing them from contamination and atmospheric moisture.
Rod Guard® canisters are constructed of high-impact polyethylene and can be used for many years.

I'm mostly a hobby welder, but it still pays to stay organized! Previously I was purchasing from another online vendor, but they only have these in one or two colors. Arc-zone has multiple colors as well as dividers that slip inside these. Those two options make it even easier to keep all my TIG filler rods organized and safe from the elements. Even though this was my first purchase from Arc-zone, I'm super impressed!

I got this because the original container that my wire came in broke in half. I had it held together with tape and well that got annoying. So far love this easy to open has a seal and seams very rigid.

Containers work well, especially with the dividers I added to segregate the different size rods. A design enhancement I would like to see for the future would be someway to keep the top chained to the bottom tube when it is removed. Not sure how it could be done, but I'm sure someone could think of a simple way to do it.
