Hands down the best tungsten available! Super stable arc when welding aluminum and redicously crisp arc when welding in DC mode! If your'e lazy like me its the one tungsten that does it all! The 3/32 out preforms other brands 1/8 tungsten when welding aluminum!

Talked with a few other experienced welders and these electrodes were mentioned to me. After trying a lot of other electrodes I knew what I wanted in them (performance wise). As an automotive fabricator, I wanted something that worked well on all metals. Titanium, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and even Chromoly. Having 4 different kinds of electrodes and constantly visiting my belt sander was getting old. With this stuff, the stability is very good, and you can bounce from metal to metal by simply freshening up your point. I welded about 50 pieces of aluminum recently, and could weld for about 30-45 minutes before having to re-sharpen it. Just freshen it up and jump over on some stainless. Stuff is the real deal, my name on instagram is xmgfuller, you can see the results I get with this stuff over on my page if you want to see real life, in color proof of how well these electrodes have performed for me. Thanks!

The Arctime Hybrid tungsten is a hit in my book !! I have been using it for two weeks straight, and I am very pleased with the results. I have used the 040,1/16,3/32 and the 1/8. All have performed as advertised. I have been welding T1 tool steel, mild steel, stainless steel, and it held point very well. It performed very well on AC aluminum with little burn off, even at high amperage. I can see were not having to switch tungsten from dc steels to ac aluminum is a big plus, and this is the only rare earth tungsten that has performed for me plain and simple . If you haven't given this tungsten a try, I suggest you give it a whirl a see what's up for yourself. If you want to see the tungsten in action, give me a follow on IG @jalumo1973 Cheers!

This Arc Time tungsten is hands down the most…

Posted by Wes Mishler on Apr 17th 2014

This Arc Time tungsten is hands down the most versitile tungsten electrode that I have ever used. I've been tig welding for two weeks straight with it and I have used it on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum without a flaw. This hybrid tungsten will be my default tungsten from now on. The Arc Time Hybrid tungsten is ideal for anyone that tig welds on various material types. The arc that this tungsten produces is super stabile and crisp, even on aluminum. It has a very smooth and quick arc start which has helped me be able to weld in very thin aluminum without blowing a hole through the base material. Before I had the Arc Time I used pure tungsten on aluminum and ran a balled tip. With the Arc Time I now sharpen it to a point then put a slight flat grind perpendicular to the tungsten to give it a very small flat spot on the tip. This allowed the tungsten to stay at a point throughout my welding. To wrap this up I would recommend this tungsten to any tig welder out there. Even if you don't weld on aluminum it is still a great tungsten to run and produces no radio-active contamination. If you want to see the Arc Time Hybrid tungsten in action or the welds it produces check me out on Instagram @Wicked_Welding and don't forget to say Hi!
