Everlast Lightning MTS 225 – 225 Amp Dual-Voltage MIG, AC/DC TIG & Stick Welder
One compact machine for MIG, AC/DC TIG, Pulse TIG, Flux-Core, and Stick welding.
The Everlast Lightning MTS 225 is a heavy-duty multi-process welder designed for fabrication shops, automotive work, maintenance, construction, motorsports, education, and mobile repair. With up to 225 amps of MIG and TIG output, 160 amps of Stick power, and dual-voltage 120V/240V operation, it delivers the flexibility to handle a wide range of materials and jobs without carrying multiple machines.
The PowerSet function helps simplify setup in MIG, TIG, and Stick modes by automatically recommending starting amperage and voltage settings where applicable. Experienced welders can switch to manual control to fine-tune gas flow, slope, burn-back, arc characteristics, and other important parameters.
Why Welders Choose the Lightning MTS 225
- Five Processes in One: MIG, Flux-Core, AC TIG, DC TIG, and Stick welding.
- AC TIG for Aluminum: Weld aluminum with full AC TIG capability instead of relying only on MIG.
- PowerSet Setup Assistance: Simplifies starting settings across MIG, TIG, and Stick modes.
- Dual-Voltage Operation: Run on 120V for portability or 240V for full output.
- Pulse TIG Control: Helps manage heat input, distortion, and weld appearance.
- Save Repeatable Programs: Store up to 16 commonly used welding setups.
PowerSet Digital Setup Assistance
The PowerSet function helps reduce setup time by recommending welding parameters based on the selected process and basic job information. It is available in MIG, TIG, and Stick modes.
Manual override remains available for experienced operators who want direct control over settings such as pre-flow, post-flow, slope, burn-back, and arc characteristics.
