Everlast PowerMTS 141Si – 140 Amp 120V MIG, DC TIG & Stick Welder
Three welding processes in one compact machine that runs on standard 120V power.
The Everlast PowerMTS 141Si combines MIG, DC TIG, and Stick welding in a portable multi-process package designed for home shops, garages, motorsports, farm repair, exhaust work, and mobile fabrication. With up to 140 amps of MIG and TIG output and 80 amps of Stick power, it provides practical all-around capability without requiring 240V electrical service.
The PowerMTS 141Si includes both High-Frequency and Lift TIG starting, automatic TIG gas control, separate MIG and TIG gas connections, and optional foot-pedal compatibility. It can also be configured for Flux-Cored wire or aluminum MIG welding with the proper optional accessories.

Recommended Materials
MIG:
- Steel
- Stainless steel
- Aluminum with an optional spool gun or proper liner and drive-roll setup
TIG:
- Steel
- Stainless steel
- Titanium
Stick:
- Steel
- Stainless steel
Important: This machine provides DC TIG output only and is not designed for TIG welding aluminum.
MIG Welding Capacity
- Minimum Steel/Stainless Thickness: Approximately 24 gauge
- Maximum Steel/Stainless Single Pass: Up to approximately 3/16"
- Maximum Steel/Stainless Multi-Pass: Up to approximately 1/4"
Actual welding capacity depends on wire size, shielding gas, joint preparation, welding position, operator skill, and application requirements.
Aluminum MIG Capability
For aluminum welding, choose one of the following setups:
- S100N MTS Spool Gun: Recommended for the most reliable aluminum wire feeding.
- Standard MIG Gun Conversion: Requires a polymer liner and the correct .035"/.045" U-groove drive roll.
- Minimum Aluminum Thickness: Approximately 14 gauge
- Maximum Aluminum Single Pass: Up to approximately 1/8"
- Maximum Aluminum Multi-Pass: Up to approximately 3/16"
TIG Welding Capacity
- Maximum Single Pass: Up to approximately 1/8"
- Maximum Multi-Pass: Up to approximately 1/4"
These TIG figures are suggested practical limits for sound welding technique. Actual results depend on joint design, material condition, operator skill, shielding gas, and application.
TIG Start & Control Options
- High-Frequency Start: Starts the TIG arc without touching the tungsten to the workpiece.
- Lift Start: Provides an alternate start method when high frequency is not preferred.
- 2T/4T Trigger Control: Supports short welds and extended welding without continuously holding the torch switch.
- Optional Foot Pedal: Allows remote amperage adjustment during TIG welding.
- Automatic Gas Control: Built-in solenoid manages shielding gas without requiring a valve-style TIG torch.
Stick Welding Capacity
- Minimum Electrode Diameter: 1/16"
- Maximum Electrode Diameter: Up to approximately 3/32"
- Recommended Electrode Types: Includes E6011, E7014, and E7018
- E6010 Capability: Not rated for E6010 electrodes
Maximum electrode size depends on the electrode type, brand, manufacturer recommendations, welding position, and application.
Flux-Core Welding
The PowerMTS 141Si can run self-shielded Flux-Cored wire when equipped with the proper optional Flux-Core drive roll and polarity setup.
Wire & Spool Compatibility
- Standard Wire Range: .023"–.030"
- Wire-Spool Capacity: 4" and 8" diameter spools
- Standard Configuration: Solid MIG wire
- Optional Configuration: Flux-Cored and aluminum wire
Generator Requirements
- Use only generators certified by the manufacturer as producing clean power
- Total harmonic distortion must be 5% or less
- Minimum recommended generator capacity: 4,500 surge watts
Using an undersized generator or one that does not provide clean power may damage the machine and affect warranty coverage.
