MonsterCup™ Gas Cups

MonsterCup™ gas cups are engineered to straighten and control laminar argon gas flow for improved shielding coverage and reduced gas consumption. They allow extended tungsten stick-out of up to 1.5 in (38 mm), making them ideal for tight access and precision work.

Precision Welding Technologies™ Auxiliary & Trailing Shields (Black Anodized)

Precision Welding Technologies™(PWT) auxiliary and trailing shields use patented technology to divide shielding gas from a single source into three controlled gas paths: inner, central, and outer.

This layered gas curtain flows directly over the molten weld pool, helping reduce defects such as oxide inclusions, porosity, and micro-cracking. These black-anodized shields are commonly used on critical and reactive material applications.

Gas Saver™ Glass Cups (Clear)

Pyrex and quartz glass cups provide improved visibility of the weld puddle while maintaining smooth gas flow. Available in multiple sizes, they are useful when visual control is important during detailed TIG welding.

Super Cups (Gray Color)

Super Cups are manufactured from advanced materials that reduce heat transfer by nearly 40% compared to standard alumina cups. They perform well on high-amperage AC aluminum welding and allow a balled tungsten to be run flush with the end of the cup without cracking or chipping.

Standard Alumina Cups (Pink)

Standard pink alumina cups are made from alumina oxide technical ceramic and remain the most commonly used TIG cups. They are suitable for a wide range of materials and general-purpose TIG welding applications.

Lava or Ceramic Cups (Light Brown)

Lava or ceramic cups are made from pure lava ceramic and available in specialized shapes and sizes. They are often used for high-reflective heat applications or where unique cup geometry is required.

TIG gas cup sizes are measured in 1/16 in (1.6 mm) increments. For example, a #4 cup has an orifice diameter of 1/4 in (6.4 mm). Selecting the correct cup size helps balance gas coverage and flow rate for your specific application.
